Perio-Analyse ® : biological analysis accessible to practitioners

The colonization of the mouth by periodontal bacteria can take place at an early age of the patient but can also take place after dental implant placement (peri-implantitis) if the patient was not being properly treated against pathogenic bacteria or having poor oral hygiene without dental maintenance.

A  microbiological  infection !

The origin of periodontal disease is the formation of bacterial biofilm with specific pathogenic bacteria and fungus . Certain pathogens at a certain level will increase the risk of periodontal disease or peri-implantitis. Bone lost  could be more than 3 mm in 2 months with only 105 of aggressive bacteria into the pocket. Certain aggressive, anaerobic pathogenic bacteria are inside the soft tissue (intracellular) and require surgical procedure to eliminate contaminated soft and hard tissue.

Real Time PCR

Microbial DNA extraction from paper points or saliva. DNA amplification with DNA probes and primers.
Multiparametric quantification of DNA bacterial specific sequences from gingival crevicular fluid , peri-implant sulcular fluid or saliva. Resistant bacterial strain  identification .
